I dont think has happened since ronald reagan was … a cowboy? whats going on to preciptate such an Ospitous ocasion! we im happy. Im happy that old souls have once again re joined the ranks to get bell to the gate. real movement, not speculation, but physical realisation.. cgi is progressing at a respectful rate with machines around the world churning out bellflower imagry to once again re ignite the verse. I have set dates for actors long since moved on from their day in the verse, coming bad gladly to polish up their lines once more..

I am so excited that i keep thinking about releasing bell in 10 min lots just so I can say ” Next time on Bellflower” boosh! into a 30 sec clip of the what the next 10 mins hold.. now that would be 100 mins of film time divided in to 10 min lots… take away the 2.. carry the 4.. ALOT! of little bits.. And at the end of the last installment.. the trailer to the next verse story.. dark. based on the side of the aliance.. Joss whedon made the comment that reavers .. what did he say? .. somethign along the lines that they are basically savage animals. the signal had a nice examination of the subject which I enjoyed listening to.
Reavers are savages hey? lets find out!.

WOW.. shock gasp, a new year. hope you are all well.

One never to loose hope or dispair, I am working with the animators to find a way to complete the cgi and get this film to you. One approach is I have built a new powerful PC just to render shots. So im asking the animators to complete the shots and send them to me to simply render them out for them. I mean al the models are done, alot of the scenes are mostly or roughly done, they mostly need tweaking and rendering so we can get our good works to you. So i have heard back from two animators that are excited about this approach and they will be sending me completed scenes to be render this week. So thats nice.

As soon as the front end of the film’ renders are done, I can finish off the audio special effects with bentley and BOOM! done.

We are still working releasing the first half of the film …. first. this is largely character introduction and devleopment with many exciting places and people that are visited.

Yes we started Bellflower in 2005.. its 2011. why havent i given up? Its never going to be released! just another fan film bites the big one! Well… its firefly… nuff said. my passion and desire for firefly has not waned since the first moment i saw her enter atmo and fall apart on the big screen.. And the fine fine works done by amazingly talented people throughout the years deserves to be shown. and… U wanna see a female reaver dont YA? U wanna hear the conversation the corbs and mashes have about this subject? You want to know what happens the the transU after serenity escapes from it that day in ep 1?

+ Im writing and setting up for the next Verse fim that i WILL be writing AND SHOOTING.. AND finishing! so what doesnt kill ya just makes u smell.. (that doesnt make any sence)

well CGI is moving again.. thats nice.. some amazing things being done. Im building a new PC, so I can help with animation rendering and stuff.

I have been putting together the trailer, and hope to have that together soonish. Sean is putting together a poster set that I hope will be available to u all shortly.
Not much more than that at present Im afraid. The Darkhorse issue seems to be sorted. artists are happy with the outcome. We got slagged alot for sticking up for ourselves in the press. So that for the support there.

other than that, hope to have something out soon.

OH! as a crazy man that I am, full of inspiration for all thing verse related, I am writing another verse film. very violent, very dark. we’ll see if that one see’s the light of day.

life has been insane. I watched the end half of the bell again with a friend that had not seen it.

they really liked it.

so ive had a gut full, have a few loyal hard working crew members and myself, we are going to get the first ten mins done and released on iphone.and a trailer that will layout the size and detail to the bell.
